This book provides information about history of agriculture of banana, not in entire world but, in USA fruit business. It is true that the USA banana companies are related to many parts of the world through their history, but looking at only USA companies and their researches will not totally cover the world by:   Bananas on Bennies I’m a big fan of “commodity histories” -- books on how everyday objects and products have become interwoven into our daily lives.
